CHALLENGE
Transforming Reports into Tools for Action
Traditional long-form reports often fail to engage audiences, overwhelmed by dense text and limited visual appeal. Fenton was tasked with creating layouts that balanced clarity and storytelling while elevating The LIFT Fund’s brand identity to energize funders, grantees, and advocates. With a minimal existing visual identity, the challenge extended beyond design—requiring an evolved approach that respected The LIFT Fund’s foundational brand while introducing fresh, modern elements. The goal was to craft reports that were not only engaging and visually compelling but also authentically reflective of The LIFT Fund’s mission and values.

Fenton transformed The LIFT Fund’s vision into visually dynamic, user-friendly reports. By leveraging bold typography, vibrant colors, modular layouts, and clear infographics, Fenton brought complex data and narratives to life. Pull quotes, impactful imagery, and accessible formats ensured that each page connected with readers, while the design reinforced themes of equity, collaboration, and systemic change. Importantly, these reports were crafted to be easily repurposed for other materials, extending their utility.

Additionally, a Spanish-language version of the impact report was created, underscoring The LIFT Fund’s commitment to inclusivity and ensuring its message reached a broader and more diverse audience.
