Karla Wagner Chief People Officer
Karla Wagner is Fenton’s chief people officer and a member of our firm’s leadership team.
Karla is the lead strategist responsible for establishing and delivering a talent-centric strategy that supports our people, the business and future talent needs of the organization. With broad experience from high-stakes strategic communications to luxury retail, Karla brings a keen focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI); culture and change; employee engagement; and professional development/technical skill buiding.

Adam Robles Senior Vice President
Adam Robles is a Senior Vice President at Fenton, where he utilizes his nearly 15 years of experience across public relations, corporate social responsibility, and diversity & inclusion to develop and implement strategies designed to help clients have a positive social impact.
Adam joins Fenton from Hyundai Motor America, where he helped lead the company’s corporate social responsibility, diversity & inclusion, and corporate culture efforts. Prior to joining Hyundai, Adam spent nearly 10 years at Finn Partners, where his work was focused on developing integrated communications campaigns that were culturally competent and creatively tailored to reach diverse audiences, influence purchase consideration, create public awareness and encourage positive behavior change.

Shakirah Hill Taylor Chief Digital Officer
Shakirah Hill Taylor is Chief Digital Officer. Serving as senior strategic counsel to internal stakeholders as well as clients, she provides leadership and strategy for the firm’s digital practice on a wide range of interactive strategies and execution to drive innovative and award-winning digital work. She brings extensive expertise in digital strategy, online advocacy building, social impact and client service to help organizations reach intended audiences to create positive, impactful and sustainable change.
She previously served as Vice President of Metropolitan Group, where she led their global digital and social marketing practice, providing strategic consultation for organizations such as the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, US Forest Service, World Resources Institute and the Ford Foundation. Before joining the Metropolitan group, she served in prior roles at Communities in Schools as their Director of Digital Strategy as well as at Blue State Digital as Account Director, where she led client engagements for the NAACP, the United States Olympic Committee and Nestlé.

Daria Hall Executive Vice President
Daria L. Hall (she/her/hers) is an executive vice president in the D.C. hub of Fenton Communications, the first national agency founded to focus solely on social impact. She leads the firm’s Racial Justice & DEI Group, where she works with clients and consults with staff to incorporate authentic storytelling, compelling messaging, and effective communications strategies to advance racial justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion – across sectors and issues. She also launched and chairs the firm’s DEI Task Force, an internal team of staff at different levels, which supports practices and policies to sustain an equitable and inclusive culture at Fenton.
With over 20 years of communications experience, Daria has worked at agencies and in-house in the corporate, non-profit, and government sectors. An award-winning communications leader, she possesses skills in strategic communications, message and narrative development, coalition-building, and partnership engagement. Her portfolio of clients at Fenton has included: Black Voters Matter, Slave Rebellion Reenactment with Artist Dread Scott, The African American Alliance for CDFI CEOs, Stanford SPARQ, Hope Credit Union, The A. James & Alice B. Clark Foundation, Bloomberg Philanthropies’ Greenwood Initiative, The Annie E. Casey Foundation, The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, among others. She was also an adjunct professor in the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of the District of Columbia, the only public university in the nation’s capital and the only urban land-grant university in the United States.
Previously, Daria served as the vice president of communications and external relations at America’s Promise Alliance in D.C., the nation’s largest network dedicated to improving the lives of children and youth, where she was responsible for overseeing communications campaigns focused on raising awareness and driving action in support of young people.
Over the years, Daria has participated in several social impact programs including, Leadership Montgomery, American Express Leadership Academy 2.0 at the Aspen Institute, the Council of Urban Professionals, and Coro Leadership New York. Currently, she serves on the boards of multiple nonprofits: Mikva Challenge, Partnership for Extraordinary Minds (xMinds), Friends of White Oak, and the Education Writers Association.
Daria has an Executive Master of Public Administration degree from Baruch College, a City University of New York. She also has an M.A. in Communications and a B.A. in English from New York University and Spelman College, respectively. A native Washingtonian, Daria is a proud graduate of D.C. Public Schools.

Rachel Henderson Eliff Executive Vice President
Rachel Henderson Eliff is an Executive Vice President, CSG at Fenton. Rachel is an award-winning senior communications professional with close to 15 years of media relations, social impact storytelling and cause marketing experience. Her issues expertise ranges widely from global development, public health, refugees and migration, to consumer brands, public affairs, sustainability and healthcare.
She offers communications strategies for leading brands and global organizations to build a better world. She is a sought-after thought leader and speaker on virtual reality storytelling, social impact communications, CSR and cause marketing strategies and brings this expertise to her clients.

Danielle Schlanger Senior Vice President
Danielle Schlanger is a Senior Vice President at Fenton, specializing in political and executive communications and providing strategic counsel to CEOs, clients and campaigns. She works across Fenton’s political practice to help organizations on the left make headlines, change the discourse both inside the Beltway and out, and advance policies to make our country fairer.
Before joining Fenton, Danielle was the New York State deputy communications director on the Mike Bloomberg 2020 campaign. She was previously both a speechwriter and communications strategist at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, where she played a key role in advancing high-profile initiatives including women.nyc and the Amazon HQ2 bid. She began her career as a journalist and has bylines in a number of leading publications.
Danielle received her bachelor’s degree in urban and regional studies from Cornell University and a master’s in public administration from Columbia University.

Kamali-Ann Burke Senior Vice President
Kamali Burke is a Senior Vice President at Fenton, specializing in media relations, branding, project management and strategic marketing communications.
She is part of the Racial Justice and DEI practice. Kamali has a desire to make advancements in social issues including education inequity, racial injustice and nutrition. She has worked with clients at Fenton including the Annie E. Casey Foundation, Citizens’ Committee for Children of New York, Cycle for Survival, Facing History and Ourselves, the National Women’s Law Center and Teachers Pay Teachers.

Erik Olvera Chief Of Issue Advocacy
Erik Olvera is an accomplished communications strategist with more than 20 years of experience working with several of the nation’s leading environmental, LGBTQ, racial justice and voting rights organizations.
He currently serves as Fenton’s Chief of Issue Advocacy, providing organizations focused on advocacy, politics and social justice with communications strategy and support to achieve their goals through campaigns that increase awareness, shape public discourse and build loyalty with new audiences.
Prior to joining Fenton, he served as the Chief Communications Officer at the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), where he oversaw all aspects of the racial justice organization’s legal and public policy communications. While there, he provided strategic guidance as the organization looked toward its future and led several projects to deepen the legacy organization’s work with the communities that it serves.
Before SPLC, he was the head of communications for environmentalist Tom Steyer’s GOTV and political organizations, where he helped develop the Need to Impeach movement. He previously served as the Senior Director of Communications for Earthjustice, where he was responsible for shaping discourse for the organization’s legal and public policy work.
The Regis University alumnus also spent several years leading communications for the National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR), where he worked on a wide range of LGBTQ legislation and legal cases. Some of his work at NCLR includes designing the Born Perfect public education campaign to end conversion therapy on minors nationwide and developing the communications plan that helped lead to the 2015 U.S. Supreme Court marriage equality victory.

Paul Hernandez Chief Strategy Officer
Paul is best known as a communications and public affairs strategist. He has over 20 years of experience working to engage and influence policymakers and other decision-makers on key issues ranging from health care to racial equity to homelessness to early childhood education.
From strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, campaign management to message development, Paul has acted as a consigliere to several prominent funders throughout the country.
He has been a senior consultant to the W.K. Kellogg Foundation in its efforts to improve the health, living conditions and economic security for children and families living in New Mexico, and to improving public schools in Michigan. He acted as a lead communications strategist for a collaborative of the nation’s most prominent foundations, Executives’ Alliance to Expand Opportunities for Boys and Men of Color, including coordination with President Obama’s My Brother’s Keeper Initiative. He partnered with the Silicon Valley Community Foundation to plan a campaign to engage California’s gubernatorial candidates to support early childhood development. And was a longtime senior policy advisor to the Blue Shield of California Foundation in its efforts to support the successful implementation of the Affordable Care Act in California.
He has also served as a trusted advisor to public and nonprofit sector organizations such as the Advancement Project, Los Angeles County Chief Executive Office, and Oakland Unified School District.
Prior to joining Fenton, Paul spent more than eight years with The California Endowment, the state’s largest private health foundation. He led efforts to build alliances and generate support for the foundation’s health priorities and was a key strategist in crafting and implementing a multi-million-dollar campaign to advance statewide health reform in 2007.
He is also a veteran of local government and politics, having served as a legislative deputy to Los Angeles County Supervisor Gloria Molina, where he acted as the Supervisor’s chief advisor on law enforcement, public safety and transportation issues.
Outside of the office, Paul serves on the Boards of the Liberty Hill Foundation and Community Health Councils and is a proud alumnus of U.C. Berkeley and Coro Southern California. And he can also point you to the best restaurants and cocktail bars in Los Angeles.

Jennifer Hahn Chief Client Officer
Jennifer Hahn is the Chief Client Officer at Fenton. A field leader with more than 20 years of nonprofit experience, she designs and directs campaigns for critical social issues such as education, social and economic justice, gender equity and children, youth and families. With a strategic mind and an activist’s heart, she harnesses issue framing, messaging, media advocacy and public engagement to advance her client’s progressive goals. From strategic planning to CEO speechwriting, campaign management to opinion research, Jennifer is consigliere to nonprofits and foundations.

Joe Wagner Chief Of Political Advocacy
As the Chief of Political Advocacy at Fenton, Joe brings more than 25 years of experience designing and managing campaigns for foundations, nonprofits and advocacy organizations. Joe brings tremendous expertise in strategic positioning, advertising, media relations, training and stakeholder outreach.
Prior to joining Fenton, Joe was a Vice President, Group Manager at Ketchum Public Relations. Joe was also a Vice President at GMMB for seven years, where he orchestrated many high-profile public affairs campaigns. Joe is a native of Los Angeles and worked on Bill Clinton’s 1992 presidential campaign in California before starting his career in Washington in the press office at the Democratic National Committee.

James Marcus Owner
As the owner of Fenton since 2014, James brings his keen business acumen to this “un-agency” committed to social justice. While James owns several companies in a number of different industries, he is particularly passionate about organizations focused on social change and corporate responsibility. He co-founded 3BL Media and has served as board member/senior advisor to emerging and sector leading companies such as Donor Trends, CSR Wire and Graham Pelton. As Fenton enters its 40th year as the first national communications firm dedicated to social change, James is energized to provide leadership and guidance to help the firm amplify its impact. As a life-long entrepreneur, James knows that begins with a focus on attracting and investing in the brightest and most diverse individuals dedicated to building a most just and equitable world. James received his MBA from Harvard and is a non-practicing CPA. James currently resides in Westchester with his wife and three daughters.

Valarie De La Garza Chief Executive Officer
As Fenton’s CEO, Valarie brings energy, leadership and passion for social change to both her work in strategic marketing communications and her commitment to the community. Prior to joining Fenton, Valarie led the communications and marketing for the California Community Foundation (CCF), one of the largest and most prestigious community foundations in the country.
Valarie is a highly skilled strategist, writer and team builder. She has expertise in marketing, media relations, community outreach and public affairs. While her nonprofit and public sector experience run deep, including her representation of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America’s Latino marketing efforts, she has also had an extensive career with major consumer brands. Valarie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from UCLA, where she was honored to serve as the first Latina editor-in-chief of The Daily Bruin.

Tom Blake Senior Vice President, Advertising & Digital
Tom has more than a decade of experience in managing omnichannel behavior change campaigns and currently serves as the leader of Fenton’s Paid Media practice group.
Before joining Fenton, he served as Deputy Digital Director for the Reshma Saujani campaign for NYC Public Advocate in 2013. He then joined the team at Global Citizen, where he managed more than $10,000,000 in digital advertising and email outreach to grow one of the largest advocacy programs in the global development sector. Later, he also served as Digital Director at Families for Excellent Schools, where he helped design pressure campaigns to push the New York State legislature to enact key progressive education reform bills. In that role, he also managed more than $12,000,000 in media buys for the 2016 “Yes on 2” Ballot Measure campaign in Massachusetts.
Since joining Fenton, Tom has been responsible for growing our paid media practice from the ground-up. He has also played a pivotal role in many of our highest-profile election outreach efforts. Some of his key projects include: helping turn the Senate blue by leading the media buying strategy with the New Georgia Project during the 2020 Senate run-off election, leading a coordinated 2020 census advertising campaign between LA County Government and more than 100 community-based organizations, helping the NY Campaign Finance Board reach millions of voters with important election information, and acting as media lead for the LA County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk in their ongoing efforts to inform voters and build trust in the election system as a whole.
More broadly, Tom also has a background in HIV advocacy and the queer rights movement. He is a co-chair of Prism, Fenton’s LGBTQ employee resource group. He is an alum of Act Up New York and a co-founder of the grassroots advocacy group PrEP4All, co-leading the successful communications campaign to #BreakthePatent on Truvada, the life-saving HIV prevention. He is also a member of the Victory Fund’s Campaign Board.

André Ory Senior Vice President
André Ory is a Senior Vice President at Fenton, where he serves as a political communications strategist for leading national and state advocacy groups, coalitions and nonprofits in the progressive space. André has led successful media and integrated communications campaigns to protect the 2020 election and results from President Trump’s attacks, advance democracy reforms to make our government work for everyone and promote the Green New Deal and meaningful climate action, among others.
Prior to joining Fenton, André served as an Account Supervisor at BerlinRosen, where he helped organizations working across LGBTQ+ rights, racial justice, public health and immigrant rights achieve their mission using compelling communications. He has also worked on thought-leadership and communications initiatives in the global public health space while at Rabin Martin, and has built his communications chops while at Edelman, Triomphant Communications and the French Permanent Mission to the United Nations.
A native of France, André now lives in the neighborhood of Shaw in Washington D.C. He is a graduate of The City College of New York’s Branding + Integrated Communications Master’s program, along with Sciences Po Aix en Provence.

Adam Greenfield Vice President, New Business
Adam Greenfield is the Vice President of New Business Development and Marketing at Fenton. He brings 20 years of experience working as a strategic partnerships and impact communications specialist with nonprofits, corporations, political candidates and the philanthropic community. Throughout his career he has worked to support and empower progressive organizations and causes by forging partnerships that galvanize and strengthen impact.
Prior to joining Fenton, Adam worked for the Gordon Co., where he was a brand strategist working on social impact business, The League, a social impact collective that leverages the reach and visibility of pop culture to inspire civic engagement within the New American Majority, and Global Green USA, the US arm of Mikhail Gorbachev’s international environmental movement, Green Cross International.

Adia Aidoo Account Executive
Adia Aidoo is an Account Executive at Fenton. She uses her background in public relations, sociology and public affairs to implement strategies that make lasting change with clients that range from education to reproductive justice. Adia supports account teams in many ways to execute strategies that move the needle on issues she cares about the most, like racial justice, LGBTQ+ equity and environmental justice.
Adia’s dream has always been to work in a role that helps people and towards social change. Her previous experiences as a Public Relations Fellow for State Representative Spencer Frye and the President of the College Democrats of Georgia have led her to her role at Fenton. Adia graduated from the University of Georgia with degrees in Public Relations and Sociology and a certificate in Public Affairs Communications.

Aileen Andres Vice President
Aileen Andres is a Vice President of Digital at Fenton, where she uses her background in international development, communications and advocacy to apply a creative and nuanced lens to highly sensitive issues. Aileen strives to develop stories, messages and narratives that are not only engaging and exciting, but that aim at the heart and at the soul.
Most recently, Aileen led digital campaigns abroad and at home, advocating public health protections for women and children around the world. She has also led social justice work, campaigning for human rights in the DRC and criminal justice reform in the U.S. Before agency life found her, Aileen worked as an international development professional implementing governance and justice reform projects throughout sub-Saharan Africa.

Aleah Jarin Account Executive
Aleah Jarin is an Account Executive, Digital at Fenton, where she utilizes her previous digital expertise, communications skills, and agency experience to implement impactful digital campaigns that advance human rights and move the needle towards progress. Aleah supports the account teams in various ways to execute strategies that drive social change and support communities to create a more just, healthy, and equitable world.
Aleah has always been passionate about purpose-driven work and creating positive social impact. Her prior experience with Edelman, a global communications firm, and DEI client work at Edelman led to her position at Fenton.
Outside the office, Aleah enjoys going to concerts, attending game nights with her friends and watching movies.
Originally from California, Aleah graduated summa cum laude from San Diego State University with a degree in journalism.

Alex Chen Associate Vice President
Alex is an Associate Vice President at Fenton. He joined the Fenton team in 2016 from the environmental advocacy nonprofit Greenbelt Alliance, where he managed marketing and communications. Greenbelt Alliance was a past client of Fenton’s, and while there, Alex saw firsthand the lasting impact our work can have on an organization, even years later.
Since starting at Fenton, he has serviced clients in environment, sustainability, community development, social justice, education, philanthropy and corporate social responsibility. Alex uses his experience in advocacy, digital marketing and PR to help organizations that work on progressive issues but are short on capacity or expertise.
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Alex grew up in South Bay, graduated from UC Berkeley and now lives in San Francisco with his television and Playstation 4. When not working, he spends most of his waking hours in search of the Bay Area’s best fried chicken and Korean BBQ.

Allison Domínguez Account Executive
Allison Domínguez is a Digital Account Executive at Fenton, where she supports various clients’ digital strategy. Allison is passionate about using strategic digital communication to drive essential, powerful change on key issues including climate change and racial justice.
Allison has spent her career building her communication and digital skills through her experience interning at Metropolitan Group and for a U.S. Senator.
She recently graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oregon with dual degrees in political science and public relations and minors in legal studies and nonprofit administration.

Amanda Ebrahim Account Director
Amanda Ebrahim is an account director at Fenton where she implements communication strategies to advance racial justice, equity and inclusion. She supports clients on issues ranging from child and family well-being, education equity, and economic policy. Amanda’s clients include leading foundations such as the Annie E. Casey Foundation, Kresge Foundation and W.K. Kellogg Foundation to advocacy organizations such as National League of Cities, Center for Popular Democracy and Color of Change to community-based organizations including Locus, Food Bank For New York City and Educational Alliance.
Amanda is a media expert with a successful track record of garnering national and local media attention on issues that deeply impact low-income communities and communities of color. She uses her expertise to support clients with media strategy, storytelling, messaging, narrative development, and thought leadership.
Amanda is a native New Yorker and a proud New York public school graduate. She holds a master’s degree in strategic communications and a bachelor's degree in broadcasting and mass communications from SUNY Oswego. Amanda is bilingual, speaking Arabic fluently, and has deep ties to New York City’s Arab community.

Ana Karina Palacio Associate Vice President
Ana Karina Palacio is an Associate Vice President, Digital in Fenton’s LA office. She combines her experience in digital and media to create effective advocacy and fundraising programs that drive results both online and offline.
Ana has wide-ranging experience in digital communications, advocacy and media production. She is passionate about creating community-based, creative and accessible campaigns that speak to diverse audiences across multiple languages. From directing an ad shoot for a leading nonprofit with just a day’s notice to running email and online advertising programs for candidate campaigns, IEs, unions and nonprofits, Ana prides herself on helping clients meet their needs.
Hailing from Mexico, Ana graduated from UCLA, where she studied political science, global studies and geography.

Camille Gomera-Tavarez Designer
Camille Gomera-Tavarez is a Designer at Fenton, where she draws on her previous political design experience along with skills in branding, creative direction, UX/UI design, motion graphics and illustration to support the needs of a variety of nonprofit organizations. She remains interested in producing ethical and sustainable design for good causes and learning as much as she can from others along the way.
Prior to her position at Fenton, Camille’s work extended to clients like United We Dream, Avow Foundation for Abortion Access, the DC Health and Wellness Center, the WHO, Ilhan Omar, the Biden-Harris Administration and more. Camille has a BFA in Graphic Design and Creative Writing from the Maryland Institute College of Art.

Carolyn Cabrera Finance/Contracts Analyst
Carolyn Cabrera is a Finance/Contracts Analyst where she uses her background in nonprofits and business to optimize resources for advancing social impact. At Fenton, she facilitates behind-the-scenes logistics, including campaign set-ups, contract needs and anything in between.
Before joining Fenton, Carolyn interned at Houlihan Lokey, where she helped identify value-adding partnership opportunities before pivoting to the nonprofit education sector with Partnership Schools to help advance fundraising campaigns. Her passion for business and social impact ultimately led her to Fenton as an Operations Fellow.
As a proud Queens native, she enjoys trying diverse cuisines and exploring new cities. Carolyn studied Management and Finance at Georgetown University and is pursuing an MPA-PNP at NYU Wagner.

Cassandra Huffman Account Executive
Cassandra Huffman is an Account Executive at Fenton, where she implements her experiences in advocacy and public relations to drive strategies that will result in lasting change. Cassandra supports a variety of teams in many ways to help create social change that will make a more just world for all.
Cassandra has always been passionate about making the world better for everyone. Her prior experiences include interning with the Center for Public Interest Communications and completing a summer fellowship at Fenton. During her undergraduate experience, she helped found and lead the first Public Interest Communications Student Association, and she continues to be a mentor for students in the organization. At Fenton, her work with clients is centered around reproductive rights, racial justice and more.

Celeste Rojas Account Executive
Celeste Rojas is an Account Executive, where she utilizes her digital advocacy and nonprofit
experience to aid in creative campaigns that progress social impact. She supports the account teams in many ways to deliver strategies that create lasting change with clients.Celeste was determined to pursue a career where she is mobilizing a future that addresses the needs of those institutionally excluded. Her prior experience with Southern California Education Network, a media hub for education access, and UC Berkeley Law School’s Human Rights Center led to her position at Fenton. Her passion to advance a more equitable world comes from growing up in South Los Angeles surrounded by her Indigenous Oaxaqueño community. Celeste graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.A in Global Studies.

Chris Compton Senior Writer
Chris Compton serves as Senior Writer at Fenton, where he uses his experience with nonprofits and philanthropy to create stories that spark empathy, engagement and action on a wide range of progressive issues. He drives narrative strategies and crafts written content that helps clients effect lasting, positive change.
Chris strives to connect to the head and the heart, telling diverse stories that create common ground. He comes to Fenton from the California College Guidance Initiative, where he helped advocate for equity-focused education policies and provide data-driven college and career tools to students. Before that, he spent nearly a decade with the California Community Foundation, where he worked to engage donors and move the needle on affordable housing, immigration, healthcare and education in Los Angeles.

Christian Hendricks Vice President, Creative Director
Christian is a Vice President and Creative Director at Fenton. Christian comes to Fenton from the advertising world, previously at agencies including Chiat/Day and Los York Studios.
His commercial repertoire includes Google, West Elm, Lexus and Mayo Clinic. Christian has also produced editorial media for The Village Voice and TimeOut New York, and he directed a 2015 policy film about transgender healthcare equality.
At Fenton he has developed campaigns and media for the DivestInvest Movement, the Sunrise Movement, the Wallace Global Fund and more. Christian also led the re-branding of Educational Alliance, numerous campaign design efforts, and he led the strategy development for The Trevor Project’s advocacy initiatives.

David Corbin Associate Vice President
David Corbin is an Associate Vice President at Fenton, where he leverages previous experience as a communications director, digital strategist, content creator and film producer throughout various fields.
Prior to joining Fenton, David served as a senior communications advisor and speechwriter to the Attorney General of Pennsylvania, where he spearheaded strategies around public health, reproductive rights, education, gun reform, criminal justice reform and environmental initiatives. Johnson Huang, CPA is the Controller at Fenton, with over a decade of experience spanning several industries such as Financial Services, Retail and Public Relations. He joins Fenton most recently from the Public Relations firm, Allison + Partners, where he provided detailed management reporting and financial analysis to measure key performance indicators and profitability metrics. Kai Tiller Associate Designer

Katherine Brandon Vice President
Katherine Brandon is a Vice President at Fenton. For more than a decade, she has worked in mission-driven communications, with a particular focus on gender, international development and global health. She has extensive experience leading communications strategies, managing complex partnerships, directing high-level events, media relations and storytelling.
Most recently, she led communications and advocacy for Together for Girls, a global partnership bringing together the UN, national governments and the private-sector to end violence against children. She has managed campaigns for global and national nonprofits, government agencies, trade associations and businesses. Prior to joining the Fenton team, Kimaya led global rebranding, digital strategy, fundraising and external engagement efforts for major health and gender equity organizations. Kimaya has also worked with Ketchum Public Relations, where she served federal agencies, such as the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and Environmental Protection Agency, and major brands such as the National Football League, Pfizer, FedEx and Hertz. Madeline graduated from American University with a degree in Justice, Law, and Criminology and a minor in Spanish.

Maria has always strived to do work that is making a positive impact on the world. Prior to joining Fenton, Maria worked for Edelman as a Senior Account Executive on their New York health team. Marly Valiente Senior Account Executive
Marly Valiente is an Account Executive in Fenton’s New York office. Driven by a passion for social justice, Marly uses communication strategy, writing and storytelling to make lasting change with clients in education, transportation and healthcare equity. At Fenton, she supports clients such as the Center for Popular Democracy, The Annie E. Casey Foundation, Facing History and Ourselves, and National Association of City Transportation Officials (NACTO).
Marly joined Fenton in 2020 as a Social Change Fellow, working with the earned media team to secure national and local stories. Prior to joining Fenton, Marly was a Brand Marketing Intern at M Booth Agency and a Public Relations Intern at Litzky Public Relations and Southard Communications. Marly graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers University with a degree in strategic communications and a minor in psychology.
Marly is a New Jersey native and in her free time, she enjoys reading, meditating, painting, heading “down the shore” by day and exploring NYC at night with her friends.

Matt Levy Account Executive
Matt Levy is an Account Executive at Fenton, where he draws upon his agency and public-sector experience to develop impactful campaigns with lasting messages. He contributes to the account teams by providing media relations and communications support for a variety of progressive causes.
Matt is passionate about creating concrete changes that allow people to lead easier lives. He got his start in politics interning for several elected officials, including Congressman Ted Lieu and Mayor Eric Garcetti. Most recently, he was an intern at BerlinRosen, focusing on labor and economic issues. He graduated from Whitman College with a double major in economics and art history.

Mercy Albaran Vice President
Mercy Albaran is a Vice President at Fenton and a proud Oakland, CA native. She brings a strong background in nonprofit communications and uses her messaging, training and media relations skills to share the stories behind struggles for social justice. Some of her recent clients include the Annie E. Casey Foundation, Coalition of Immokalee Workers, the GSA Network and the James Irvine Foundation.
The daughter of an immigrant caregiver, Mercy was inspired to take on the lead communications role at the California branch of the National Domestic Workers Alliance prior to Fenton. Outside of the office, Mercy is a member of GABRIELA, an international, grassroots alliance fighting for the liberation of Filipina womxn and overseas workers. In her spare time, she likes to learn languages, sing with her partner and beatbox.

Michael Bennett Account Director
Michael Bennett is an Account Director at Fenton, where he works to advance causes including climate action and global public health. He is fascinated by the ways that communications strategies can bridge cultural, political and geographic divides, and in his work, he always seeks to engage new audiences with unifying messages.
Michael arrived at Fenton after serving as Deputy Press Secretary to a U.S. Senator – executing press strategy and spearheading digital campaigns on a broad range of policy issues. While in the Peace Corps, Michael partnered with a diaspora organization that used storytelling to connect Moldovans living abroad back to their hometown and crowdfund local development projects. Michael’s start in communications was at his alma mater, the University of San Diego, where he wrote about campus success stories and produced photo and video content for official university channels.

Michelle Forsyth Project Manager
Michelle is an experienced administrative professional and project manager with a corporate and digital support background. As the project manager on Fenton’s largest projects, she currently works closely with 20 team members daily, primarily with the Johnson & Johnson projects, including CHWI, JJIV, and ORTHE. Michelle shares her 20+ years of experience creating efficient processes, managing deadlines and ensuring successful project implementation from start to finish. In addition, Michelle is passionate about women’s health and ensuring female-identifying people have the support they need to maintain a healthy lifestyle and access the care they need when their health suffers.
Michelle writes about productivity, time management and entrepreneurship in her spare time. Michelle has been featured on Thrive Global and The Authority and often writes for Medium.com. Her first solo book: Step, Step, Pick, coming in 2023, is about how to use the power of momentum to tackle tasks, finish projects and fulfill your dreams.

Mick DiMaria is an Associate Vice President, Creative Director at Fenton, where he uses his extensive experience in creative marketing and the social impact space to develop campaigns that drive behavior change. He supports the advertising and creative teams by leading the conception and execution of innovative strategies for both new and existing clients.
Mick's goal has always been to create content that engages and inspires meaningful action. His career spans roles as a Creative Director at organizations such as Participant, SoulPancake, and 72andSunny. He has partnered with esteemed brands, non-profits, and high-profile figures to produce award-winning work recognized by Cannes Lions, Effies, Social Good Awards, and Fast Company's World Changing Ideas. His clients have included the National Domestic Workers Alliance, It Gets Better Project, Obama Foundation, Truth Initiative, and more.
Outside the office, Mick enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys, volunteering in his community, as well as making homemade pasta and exercising (often at odds with each other). A Los Angeles resident, Mick graduated from Florida International University with a degree in Advertising and Psychology. His passion for storytelling and dedication to progressive causes make him a key player in Fenton’s mission to win over both hearts and minds.

Molly Spillman Digital Account Director
Molly Spillman is a Digital Account Director in Fenton’s D.C. office. She uses her previous background in digital fundraising and paid media to support the creation of smart digital advocacy campaigns. Molly’s experience working for a wide range of political and nonprofit clients allows her to think creatively and work effectively under deadline for Fenton’s digital clients.
Molly has deployed a variety of digital tactics for political campaigns, nonprofits, labor unions and IEs alike. Molly graduated from Kent State University in 2019 where she studied public relations.

Myrna Chua-Miguel is the Accountant at Fenton, where she is responsible for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and other accounting duties related to Fenton’s general operations, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. Neven Samara Associate Vice President
Neven Samara is an Associate Vice President and Creative Director at Fenton. Neven oversees all creative work being produced in the San Francisco and Los Angeles offices of Fenton. He has been with the agency since January 2015.
Neven works on a wide range of creative needs that are incorporated into many of the campaigns and projects produced at Fenton. From logos to websites, Neven produces whatever is needed to help our client successfully change the world for the better.
Bringing over 12 years of diverse experience to the table, Neven can be described as a multi-facetted designer. From magazine design to social media campaigns, as well as logo design to environmental design, Neven has cultivated a diverse and unique ability to integrate himself into any digital or design environment that presents itself. Bold and risk-taking are words that have been used to describe his work.
Neven started his professional career with Frog Design, where he worked on illustration, photography and graphic design for its highly-acknowledged publication Design Mind. After Frog Design, Neven started to work at a young creative marketing firm that specialized in somewhat experimental campaigns. Starting as a Junior Designer there, Neven quickly moved his way up to Lead Designer and Head of Digital media.
Neven began art directing, designing, and producing a San Francisco based art and culture magazine titled, Sex+Design. The bold, dynamic and intriguing standard that Neven put into place for the brand has helped it to mature into a successful and well respected magazine. Using a similar approach, Neven has most recently helped launch a skin-care sub-brand for a world-renowned direct-selling corporation morally driven to empower women. This persistent attitude and high level of integrity is how Neven found himself at Fenton. Being a first generation Palestinian/Croatian American and coming from a family and community oriented environment, he has found a very welcoming community at Fenton. He is excited and motivated to implement his experience in order to do his part to make the change he believes in.

Nhu Nguyen Associate Vice President
Nhu Nguyen is an Associate Vice President and Creative Director at Fenton, where she brings over 12 years of extensive creative and multimedia expertise to integrate strategy, effective design and compelling storytelling tactics to create memorable solutions that leave lasting impressions for causes such as improving mental health access and racial justice. Nhu oversees the creative team in executing creative solutions that move the needle on issues she cares about most.
Nhu’s goal has always been to work toward social change. Her prior experience with health advocacy work and creating viral artwork for progressive causes led to her position at Fenton. She has worked with the likes of Planned Parenthood, Women’s March, United Nations, AstraZeneca, and more. Nicole Levi Account Executive
Nicole Levi is an Account Executive at Fenton’s New York office. She combines her passions for storytelling and social justice to help clients such as Johnson & Johnson Global Public Health, Johnson & Johnson Impact Ventures, Johnson & Johnson Center for Health Worker Innovation, Smile Train and Salvation and Social Justice reach their communications goals.
Nicole joined Fenton in January of 2022 as a Corporate Social Good Fellow, where she was able to refine and grow her communications skills through hands-on experience with clients in both the global health and social justice spaces. Prior to working at Fenton, Nicole was a public relations intern at Rise of the Butterfly, an art-driven anti-trafficking organization. Throughout college, Nicole worked at her local Boys & Girls Club, where she found a passion for youth development and mentorship.
Originally from Portland, Oregon, Nicole graduated with a B.A. from the University of Oregon, where she double-majored in Public Relations and Global Studies.

Nina Chung Account Director, CSG
Nina Chung is an Account Director, CSG at Fenton, drawing upon cross-sector experiences to provide strategic counsel to clients in corporate social good and global health. Prior to joining Fenton, Nina managed pandemic response communications for The Rockefeller Foundation, crafting strategies and coordinating partners to promote vaccine equity, research-based health messaging and initiatives against misinformation. She also managed announcements and strategic storytelling at the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation to celebrate and strengthen the fields of medical research, performing arts and environmental conservation.
Nina is dedicated to communications that serve the public interest and strives to build deep listening, questioning and collaboration in her work with partners and clients. She earned her master’s degree in media and communications at the London School of Economics and Political Science, where she published her dissertation on the surprising role of corporate public apologies in society. She majored in international relations at Stanford University, minoring in modern languages and studying in South Korea and Italy.

Susannah Rosenblatt Vice President
Susannah Rosenblatt is a Vice President, CSG at Fenton, where she uses her award-winning communications leadership experience spanning cultures and continents to craft winning strategies to improve global health. A versatile storyteller, she directed strategy and branding for the United Nations Foundation’s malaria prevention campaign; managed its digital presence at the World Health Assembly; and cultivated thought leadership and partnerships for the global health team.
Driven by causes that count, she has overseen a multimillion-dollar cause marketing effort to prevent suicide and supported communications for Heifer International, Save the Children, and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, among others. She was also a journalist with the Los Angeles Times and in Taiwan. Susannah has an M.P.S. in Public Relations from Georgetown University, where she was a faculty advisor, and a B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Wake Forest University.

Taylor Tringali-Sewall Associate Vice President
Taylor Tringali-Sewall is an Associate Vice President at Fenton, where she works to implement strategies designed to make a lasting change with clients ranging from education and youth and families to reproductive justice. Some of her past and current clients include the Annie E. Casey Foundation, Partnership to Advance Youth Apprenticeship (PAYA), Educational Alliance, DonorsChoose.org, Wiki Education and more. Taylor continues to hone her skills at Fenton through branding and messaging projects, media trainings and extensive media relations to move the needle on issues she cares about most.
Taylor’s goal has always been to work toward social change. Her prior experience with frank, a resource for strategic communicators, and Alliance for the Arts led her to Fenton as an Earned Media Fellow in 2017. Using her background in sociology and communications, she combines a holistic understanding of clients’ issue areas with strategic solutions to move their organizational needs forward.
Originally from the sunshine state, Taylor graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida with a degree in sociology and a minor in mass communications. A comedy and music enthusiast, you will most likely find her attending a concert or stand up show around the city.

Thora Kastner-Lang Account Executive
Thora Kastner-Lang is an Account Executive at Fenton, where she couples her interests in communications and storytelling with her passion to do good and incite sustainable change. Travis Wolf Senior Account Executive, Digital
Travis Wolf is a Senior Account Executive, Digital at Fenton, where he utilizes his digital strategy and global communications experience to empower mission-driven organizations to reach their goals and drive sustainable and equitable social change.
An accomplished communicator, Travis has worked on a variety of campaigns focused on creating conversation and achieving enduring impact on issues such as public health access, economic empowerment, and environmental initiatives. Passionate about shifting culture and digital storytelling, Travis comes to Fenton with previous experience at Weber Shandwick, supporting digital communications and public relations clients in the healthcare, CPG, financial, public health, and global nonprofit sectors. In recent past, Travis traveled to Bolivia to support social media and communication efforts for delivering community-based healthcare and HIV/AIDS education.
Travis graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in communication studies and global health, and a certificate in integrated marketing communications.
Originally from Buffalo, New York, Travis is no stranger to snowy weather, original chicken wings and sports teams that never stop trying. Now based in Los Angeles, Travis enjoys his time outside of work engaging in all things pop culture, finding the best cold brew iced coffee and staying active on hikes or the pickleball courts.

Tunan Pan is an Art Director at Fenton, where she develops engaging visual media to help further our clients’ social causes. She leads and supports creative production and strategy on a wide range of accounts in both advocacy and CSR, with experience across social media, paid media, out of home materials, print collateral, branding, email, web and video. Her work is highly detail oriented, with a human-centered approach that prioritizes both form and function. Tunan is most interested in interactivity, accessibility and exploring the best ways to involve and inspire audiences to do good.
Tunan comes from New Zealand with a Bachelor of Design and started at Fenton as a Creative Fellow. She strives to align her work and life with her values, spending much of her spare time walking shelter dogs, dabbling in game development and volunteering at local queer events.

Tyler Drayton Account Executive

Ujala Sehgal Vice President
Ujala is an award-winning communications expert with nearly 15 years of experience and a proven track record of social change. An attorney and former journalist, Ujala’s unique background informs her expertise in integrated communications strategies, training and capacity building, messaging, media relations, counsel and campaigns.
As a vice president at Fenton, Ujala’s clients have included Stop AAPI Hate, Center for Popular Democracy, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, the Ford Foundation, the Fight Back Table and RAICES, among other leading nonprofits and foundations. She received PR Week’s Best in Nonprofit 2022 Award for her leadership on Stop AAPI Hate. A believer in empowering organizations of all sizes to maximize their impact, she also helps lead and design Fenton’s training and capacity building programming.
Prior to joining Fenton, Ujala served as the communications director for a number of human rights organizations, including ACLU New York, the Knight First Amendment Institute, and the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund. At ACLU New York, Ujala led the organization’s public response to Trump’s instatement of the “Muslim ban,” and co-authored “State of Injustice” (on the right to public defense) and “Dignity for All?” (on discrimination against transgender youth).
With significant expertise across a range of issue areas, Ujala has led or participated in high-profile strategies that successfully advocated for ensuring reproductive rights, reducing solitary confinement, protecting labor rights, providing access to education and legal rights for immigrant youth, increasing educational equity, challenging discrimination against LGBTQ teenagers, redrawing voting districts, defending free speech, reforming discriminatory policing, and shining a spotlight on technological advances that infringe on privacy.
Ujala graduated with high honors from Carnegie Mellon University and from the University of Michigan Law School with awards in critical race theory and legal practice. After practicing regulatory law at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP in New York City, she worked as a journalist for several outlets including The Atlantic and Insider.

Valerie Jean-Charles Vice President
Valerie Jean-Charles is a Vice President, specializing in media relations, building communications strategy, rapid response and project management. She is dedicated to working to advance movements that prioritize the well-being and rights of marginalized and vulnerable Americans.
Prior to joining Fenton, Valerie worked at the Hub Project, where she worked on progressive economic issues like progressive taxation and national public polling initiatives. Wardah Imran Senior Account Executive, Advertising
Wardah Imran is a Senior Account Executive, Advertising at Fenton, where she utilizes her background in civil rights advocacy and digital strategy to build meaningful, comprehensive campaigns that drive people to take action across a variety of social issue spaces. Her passion for social justice work began during her time as a student activist at Long Beach State University, where she graduated as a double major in sociology and journalism.
Her work experience includes communications support at the ACLU and digital consulting at RALLY. Having worked at community-focused and impact litigation organizations before finding her specialty within the world of digital advocacy, she comes with an understanding of the importance of equity and intersectionality in the work that we do.
A Southern California native, Wardah likes to spend her time by large bodies of water in the sunshine.
