When the Environmental Justice organization you provide full-service strategic communication support mentions that a member is sending in a rap song they produced in collaboration with KXNG Crooked, what would you do? We produced an animated lyric video of this absolute banger of a song.

CHALLENGE
“I Know This Because I’ve Lived This”
We caught wind that a member of the Moving Forward Network had produced an anthem song that featured the passionate voices of members across the country. Amplifying voices is something we often strive to do with our clients and this seemed like an ideal way to bring to life the voices of communities most burdened by the cumulative impacts caused by the freight transportation system. We set to work seeking inspiration and landed on a lyric video that would showcase the powerful lyrics featuring KXNG Crooked and MFN members.

Dropping The Beat
In order to create the most compelling animated lyric video we pulled together a team of creatives including designers, animators, video producers and musical talent. This masterpiece took a true collab to produce.
‘Ya Basta! Enough!
The end product premiered at the Environmental Film Festival in the Nation’s Capital and won first place at the Chisholm Legacy Project’s Climate Justice Video Contest. You can check out the video on YouTube or add it to your favorite playlist on Spotify.
