We are a fully- integrated communications agency, with expertise in public relations, digital communications, advertising, creative services and a centralized project management department to ensure that processes are standardized to bring efficiency to the organization at scale.
We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of work on a variety of accounts whose missions are to promote progressive social change.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serve as the lead project operational counsel on a select number of complex projects, building staff plans and budgets for proposals, developing audits and reset plans.
- Support the Account Lead and senior leadership team to define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives
- Establish effective and appropriate project governance for a project: work across practices and with operations team to staff projects and set up the project infrastructure (e.g., Kantata, team calls, Slack, email alias)
- Help leads project hours needed from staff assigned to accounts via staff plans and charts, working with other senior staff to distribute billable hours among junior staff as necessary and with Operations to account for this time in Kantata
- Identify project targets against scopes and build detailed work plans in Kantata against targets, assign dates and deadlines to staff.
- Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly oversight of multiple large accounts including strategic counsel, quality control checks, and evaluation of account progress and client satisfaction in support of Account Leads
- Manage day-to-day deliverable traffic via PM tools, assigning, reassigning, and following up with staff as needed to ensure teams meet deadlines
- Conduct project reporting and track issues and risks for Account Lead, implementing corrective actions and decisions by Account Lead to improve project profitability, product quality, staffing/performance, capacity/labor, and client satisfaction.
- Support Account Lead’s project renewal and growth efforts by providing KPI reporting
- Work closely to train and oversee a dedicated Project Manager or other account staff in the PM role while providing account management counsel to the AVP/VP on the project.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7+ years of prior relevant experience in a marketing/advertising/communications agency
- Demonstrated experience managing large integrated accounts spanning all departments (account, digital, advertising, creative)
- Non-traditional educational paths are welcomed
- PMP Certified
- Detail-oriented, able to multitask and prioritize multiple projects.
