Fenton’s Creative Department is a dynamic, collaborative team of experts, charged with ideating and executing compelling visual stories that give a voice to social justice campaigns that strive to make the world a better place.
We are currently seeking an Associate Designer to work on a variety of accounts whose missions are to promote progressive social change. You will assist teams to produce creative materials that support client communication plans to include branding/logo design, conceptual campaign ideation, print collateral, video and digital executions such as websites, influencer, social media & email campaigns.
The ideal candidate is passionate about design and creativity in general; is able to produce high quality design ideas in a fast and efficient way and feels comfortable handling multiple projects at the same time, organizing their time effectively.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in the design and production of multimedia projects, including
- Graphic design projects such as logos and branding, social media content, advertising and PSAs, and presentation design.
- Video production, editing, and motion graphics for advocacy videos, short documentary films, and other digital content.
- Participate in conceptual brainstorms by bringing fresh perspective and inspiration to the work.
- Collaborate across departments at the agency by demonstrating strong people skills and an eagerness to integrate design and video into a range of strategic communications projects.
- Keep current on social trends and unique design styles, technology and share back with the Creative team.
- Apply strong organizational and project management skills to each assignment. Proactively communicate with team members to ensure deadlines are met
- Attend client presentations/meetings,, contributing as directed
Qualifications:
- Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Multimedia Design or related experience, non-traditional educational paths are welcomed.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work or internship experience in graphic design
- Portfolio of relevant work that displays creativity and visual problem solving.
- Must be proficient in Adobe CC. Primarily: Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. After Effects is a plus but not required.
- Experience in Google Slides, PowerPoint and/or Keynote is a plus to help us with client presentations.
- Detail-oriented, able to multitask and prioritize multiple projects.
- Additional skills in Photography or Copywriting are a plus.
- You should be passionate and informed about social change and naturally curious and eager to take on new challenges.
- Strong organization and planning skills, collaboration, and flexibility in a team-centered environment.
