The Fenton Fellows program is designed to give young leaders a chance to have real life experience on the front lines of social change communications. Our team members mentor Fellows as they work alongside our staff to develop and implement leading communications strategies that help build a more just, equitable and sustainable world. The fellowship is open to students or graduates and is a paid position.
Not your typical internship, Fenton’s Fellowship program presents its participants with a tangible opportunity to nurture and use the skills needed to succeed in a career centered on progressive communications. During their time at Fenton, Fellows will work on a range of different issues, from stopping climate change to ensuring everyone has the right to marry. We work to pair your interests with our clients, and push Fellows to step outside their comfort zone and explore new interests. All Fellows will be trained in digital communications, media monitoring, messaging, pitching and research. We also offer specialized Fellowships with our digital, creative and earned media teams.
From cookies at staff meetings and good-natured pranks, to sending around our favorite gifs, the Fenton office culture is one of community and achievement. Our Fellows have gone on to work in government, media, communications and technology — and some still work right here at Fenton!
