Fenton Announces Shakirah Hill Taylor as Executive Vice President, Digital

Seasoned communications professional brings depth and leadership to team

NEW YORK, N.Y.—Fenton Communications, the largest public interest communications firm in the country, has announced the hiring of Shakirah Hill Taylor as Executive Vice President, where she will lead the firm’s digital practice on a wide range of interactive strategies and execution to drive innovative and award-winning digital work.

Prior to joining Fenton, Hill Taylor served as Vice President of Metropolitan Group, where she led its global digital and social marketing practice, providing strategic consultation for organizations such as the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, U.S. Forest Service, World Resources Institute and the Ford Foundation. She served in prior roles at Communities in Schools as their Director of Digital Strategy as well as Account Director at Blue State Digital, where she led client engagements for the NAACP, the United States Olympic Committee and Nestlé.

Hill Taylor has a graduate certificate in strategy and leadership from New York University, a Master of Arts in integrated marketing from Georgetown University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English literature and art history from the University of Maryland College Park.
