Zain Habboo is the Chief Digital and Creative Officer at Fenton. She oversees digital, creative and marketing strategy for the company and its clients. Before joining Fenton in 2017, Zain was Senior Director of Digital & Multimedia Strategy at the United Nations Foundation (UNF), where she was responsible for the digital, video, photo and mobile strategies for UNF and its 17-plus campaigns and initiatives worldwide. Prior to joining UNF, Zain spent 14 years at the National Geographic Society in digital strategy and production.
Zain is a member of Disney’s “Team of Heroes” 5-year $100 million dollar initiative to improve the hospital experience for families with children with serious illness. She also sits on the board of the Starlight Foundation, is a member of Washington DC’s Children’s National Medical Center’s “Scientific Advisory Board”, and runs a fundraising campaign for a research fund for Pediatric Cancer housed at Washington DC’s Children’s National Medical Center. Zain is also a proud board member of the UN Foundation’s Girl Up initiative as well as PBS’s “AmDoc” media arts organization.
Born in Iraq, raised in Jordan, and educated in the U.K., Zain brings a global approach and strong cultural understanding to her work. She is fluent in Arabic (conversational in French) and has worked with organizations around the world on issues ranging from girls and women’s empowerment to climate change. Zain lives in Chevy Chase, Maryland with her husband, son and two dogs.
