Sonata Lee Narcisse is an Account Executive at Fenton where she specializes in media relations and research for clients such as the California Endowment and the California Community Foundation. She joined Fenton in 2015.
Prior to joining Fenton, Sonata worked as a public radio producer for The Tavis Smiley Show from Public Radio International, Marketplace by American Public Media and NPR’s News & Notes. She produced interviews with newsmakers like Special Envoy Russ Feingold on his humanitarian work in the Congo, a roundtable discussion with leaders of the Mississippi Freedom Summer Movement and a host of other interviews with musicians, actors and authors. Through her work as a radio producer and freelance journalist, Sonata has endeavored to cover the social justice issues she’s most passionate about. Her stories have appeared on Marketplace, NPR, the Ventura County Star and Bush Radio in Cape Town, South Africa.
Sonata earned her bachelor’s degree in mass communication from Xavier University of Louisiana and her master’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Southern California.
