Makare Saunders

Makare Saunders is an Associate Editor/Producer at Fenton, where she expands upon her film expertise by providing editing and animation support alongside strategies for production to their client base. Makare prides herself in producing media that uplifts marginalized communities and gives a platform to those who need it most.

Makare has always had a passion for social justice. She was worked for several non-profits in the DC-Baltimore Metro area, most recently as a Video Editor at the DCCC, where she and her team created a Pro-choice broadcast ad that forced Hulu to overturn its prior ban on streaming ads about abortion.
