Account Executive | DC
Kate Uyeda is an Account Executive at Fenton’s DC office, where she supports media, messaging and executive visibility work, and project manages small to medium accounts.
At Fenton, she has led statewide media outreach for Color Of Change PAC, including driving awareness of their work in Florida to restore voting rights to nearly 1.5 million previously incarcerated people through Amendment 4 and provided day-to-day and strategic support to the National Park Foundation since the beginning of Fenton’s work with the organization. She has supported the Annie E. Casey Foundation across multiple focus area through media relations and messaging, including gaining critical national and state-level media for their KIDS COUNT report and raising the visibility of their work to support youth as they transition out of foster care into adulthood.
Before joining Fenton, Kate worked as a Field Organizer for Hillary for America in Cleveland, OH and as a Development Intern with Human Rights Watch in San Francisco. A native to the San Francisco Bay Area, she is passionate about voting rights, environmental justice, and education reform. Outside of the office, Kate can usually be found at the closest yoga studio or watching the newest Netflix original series.
