Ambar Mentor-Truppa is a Vice President at Fenton. She brings nearly 20 years of experience in strategic communications to advance economic, racial, and gender justice. Ambar specializes in campaign strategy, persuasive messaging, and community storytelling. She advises organizations advancing policy advocacy and racial justice.
Ambar works at the intersection of strategic communications, social justice, and organizational transformation. She was most recently the first-ever Vice President of Communications at the Shriver Center on Poverty Law, advancing legal and policy campaigns and leading the organization’s rebrand effort. Prior to the Shriver Center, Ambar directed local, state, and multistate public relations and community engagement efforts with several public affairs agencies in Chicago. Ambar holds a Bachelor of Science in broadcast journalism from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
